About a month ago I did some scouting along a local brook to see if there was anything living in it.
One area looked interesting a dropped a nightcrawler. Pretty soon a thick school of small minnows come shooting for the bait and act like bluefish attacking it. Nothing else ever came.
The size of them were no bigger than an inch or not even 3/4.
From how aggressive they were being, all I could think of was a tiny type of creek chub. |

That was one other I thought but didn't know if they were the types to attack a worm in schools. |
