Hi All
Born and raised in northern central CT. Fishing since I could hold a rod.
I dont pigeon hole myself into any type of fishing. I'll catch anything from 4 inch bluegills to monster stripers.
I think my favorite has to be bass fishing with poppers and my fly rod, with the occasional blue gill to break it up.
I'm a small hook , go for it all guy.
"While its true big hooks catch big fish, big rigs turn away smaller fish. I've seen 4lb trout take a size 24 fly and I've caught 5lb bass on number 10 hooks."
I fish Colebrook reservoir, the west branch of the farmington, secret lake in avon, lake McDonough, and various other little ponds and streams.
