Seeing I still had time on my way home from Twin Brooks Park, I decided to check out the lower tidal Pequonnock.
After not seeing much at Glenwood Park and water being low due to tide and the level at Bunnells, for the first time I checked out the North Ave bridge.
Saw at least 5 carp hanging out down there. Waded into the shallow water and threw a glass minnow Husky Jerk HJ-6 under there in each tunnel.
Within a half hour, ended up landing 3 yellows, 1 crappie, and a baby striper. The yellows were all 7". Had a number of yellows follow the HJ-6.
Hit the road around 7:30pm |

Looks like you did better at the river compared to the bass report.
I finalized my report.Things are very good from the CT river area.. _________________ ...Randy...
