Has anybody fished Windsorville Pond in East Windsor? Looks like it should have some decent bass in it. I am not even sure if it is public or private. I would love to get permission to fish there. |

a few years ago I fished it...the side that's behind the toner store, if it's still a toner store, gets really mucked up, the other side I tried and again it was really mucky. I don't recall seeing a "no trespassing" sign but I would check first. It does "look" like it has some real good potential though. |

Now there is a "Private Property" sign on the side opposite the toner store. A Google search produced this link:

So I know there are some decent bass in there. The Google search also contained some old Hartford Courant articles talking about cleaning the pond up. I suspect the pond was open the public at one time but I don't know about now.

a few years ago they re-did that bridge and cleaned up the pond behind the toner store. Maybe find out who owns it and ask permission. |

i've heard of good bass in there but the guy who told me had permission to tresspass, and i canoed it once or twice and the best lookin area is what you see from the road. It's all EXTREMELY shallow. _________________ ...of all the liars among mankind, the fisherman is the most trustworthy.
