Hey guys. I've been hitting the surf quite a few times this year. I'm really loving saltwater fishing. But I have two kayaks. I was wondering if the fishing was that much better from a kayak and if someone who was familiar with it wouldn't mind having someone tag along. If you don't mind having a fishing buddy you can pm me and schedule something. Thanks again guys. Tails up

I have a kayak with a fishfinder on it and have gotten the yak out in the salt once so far. The nice thing about fish from a kayak is you get to cover more water and have a better chance at getting into the fish than you do from shore.

I'm always open for a kayak partner who has room for a second kayak with me not having a car.

There's nothing like a stealth approach in skinny water and hard to reach back bays.
I can't count the number of times that stripers and i have spooked each other in the dark of night. You'll be able to get a couple of feet from them before they know your there.
The blue in my avatar was 1 of many that day.I caught my limit then started tossing them back. I stepped mine up a notch and fitted it with an electric motor for those days i venture further than my legs will pedal me. Very Happy

You'll be able to get into Inches of water and places you can't by foot and bigger boats.

I'm stoked to get it in the water. I just don't have all the fancy stuff for it yet. Do you guys who go out on it often mostly have the ones your paddle with your feet.?

Nowadays.....Yes!
Back when i first started....No.
Behind me is the 9.5 footer(sink)sit inside i started with.No electronics, had to paddle and as you can see.I caught fish!
I still use it in shallow rivers or lend it to someone who wants to tag along.
