I believe that's the one on the corner of 72 and Preston road.Correct??
If so then YES!
Shore access only.(dam area)
No live bait.
Catch and Release only.
You must prove you are either a Bristol or Terryville resident.
Contact the Bristol Water Department
No ice fishing...No boats or flotation devices of any kind.
Last i checked it was $100 for a permit.
I wasn't about to dish out the money for that.
Same rules apply for the Old Marsh.
There is one more but I'm not sure if it is #4 or #5
Contact Bristol Water Department. They're the ones you want to talk with. _________________ ...Randy...

I do know of a few people that purchased a permit to fish the old marsh dam area on the western shore. 1. the son of someone i know that works at Indian Rock nature preserve. 2 my grandfather's friend Joe Swicklas that lives on 72 in Terryville.(he takes his grandson there quite often and has caught lots of bass including a 6+ lb pickrel)
3 Also Mr Paul Bleakis That lives right on the marsh's southwestern corner.
The marsh is your best bet to get a permit for as long as your a resident
That permit is your written permission.BUT,if there is some kind of incident there.YOU will be contacted by the authorities firstly before they persue other prospects. _________________ ...Randy...
