To cap off my vacation I took my kids out on Candlewood Lake with CT bass pro Paul Mueller. Wow! What an afternoon. It was windy but we were catching smallmouth bass like crazy. We were fishing with live shiners on dropshot rigs. Paul would find a school of baitfish with smallmouths chasing them using his electronics and put us right over them. All of us caught fish over 3.5 pounds. Paul is a great teacher and has a lot of knowledge to share. Learn more about fishing with Paul on his website: http://www.paulmuellerfishing.com
Thanks to Genesis2245 for his post about going out on Candlewood with Paul. |
