so launched in Enfield Sunday made our way all the way up to the Westfield river in Springfield hellavella ride pasted six flags and everything..so my question was do Imneed a ma fishing llicence to fish the ct river in ma or is there a reciprocity agreement like in saltwater fishin in ma ri and ct

You need a Ma fishing license unfortunately, I had to buy one for ct, since I go to that boat launch quite often.

I always wondered if you can go all the way up to mass from there. How was the ride, any shallow areas to watch for?

How was the fishing more importantly?

Yeah I'm curious on the ride myself on the ride up...I did that stretch like 10 years ago with a jetski and it was quite the ride haha.

yea the ride was awsome river was very high didnt have to worry bout the shallows but heard from a guy from cabelas say Igot lucky cuz that part of the river is pretty shallow at points just have to watch the way the current and river is flowing... my uncle says u can go up river as far as chicoppe falls... the fishing was slow but my dad did. catch his first freshwater fish ever a smb that was a little over a pound on a 4inch curly tailed purple senko

hey sry bout the multi post... my uncle sent me a map of this section of the river and man am I glad the river was so high cuz the map pretty much says its very shallow and rocky in this area I was runnin my 25hp hard on that stretch... not a bad way to ruin a 4 thousand dollar brand new motor if I hit a rock full throttle
