Went out at 7:30 this morning. Hit east warf and weast warf all day today. Not much has changed. There was very little baitfish, I only saw a few small schools of shiners. No bunker to be seen. Snappers were fairly consistent during the incoming tide then they vanished. Today's catch were 2 sea robins I used live snappers as bait. Threw lures on another pole.. poppers, swimbaits, hogys, spoons, bucktails...Not even a hit. I saw another group of guys catching small porgies 7-9.5". Few other guys got sea robins as well. I also saw this mysterious "King Fish" They have the same head of a croaker. Today is the first time ive ever seen one in all the years i fished. No birds working. All in all it was a beautiful day to be out fishing !
