If I can get a ride and schedule cooperates with me, I'd be in!
Only thing would be if the meet time starts early in the morning.
Hamburg Cove and some of the lakes around Meriden I could also see as outing places. |

still working on the place again narrowed list for the 1st one to: Mansfield Hollow, Mashapaug, Pauchaug and Moodus. This depends on if there is permit on May 11 for that day already. I'm looking at time from 7 to 1 then cookout afterwards.
Now there is an option of doing a pool of 10 dollars per person if people want to but not obligated to and the winner get the pot or we could break it up to top three depending on how many people go. I will try to solicit donations from Dicks or Cabelas for prizes will see how that goes.
As for the cookout we can decide on who brings what, but will need a hard number of whose going as time gets closer. Again spread the word on the other sites as well and leave feedback here. If you have a question for me PM with your number and I will get back to you. |

You should start a new thread after you nail everything down, Alan. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

absolutely. Love to have you will start a new thread with all the details once permit is approved. FYI I faxed it yesterday to DEEP so should hear something next week.
An I want to emphasize that even though I used the word tourney, the goal is to have fun with competition involved once we get people into the tourney and the idea then we can get involved with bigger prizes and teams and so on. |

I think this is a great idea and would love to participate. Most of you don't know me but I introduced myself in the new member section. Has anything gotten off the ground yet? _________________ "That's why it's called fishing not catching." |

Hey, Mark. Yes, we had our first "non-gasoline engined, cartop boat" tourney on 05/11 at Moodus Reservoir:

The member who organized it, Mase2020 (aka Alan) has probably been too busy to organize another (that's not a criticism, Alan! ). However, I wouldn't mind planning a less formal/organized "get-together", not a tourney, sometime soon. Although I prefer to go kayak fishing during the week, I'd bet that a weekend date would work better for most interested members.
What does everyone think about East Twin Lake in Salisbury on 08/11? _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Thanks for the link. I've never been to that location but I'm always down to fish new places. _________________ "That's why it's called fishing not catching." |

I'd be interested in a kayaking club.Just don't get mad if i drop my motor in and race off to the other end of the lake. _________________ ...Randy...
