Have to go visit the in-laws in Clinton and am looking to get away to a pond or lake close by to catch some LM. Any suggestions? |

First off, seeing you're going to visit in-laws, do you live in CT? |

I would suggest Norwich pond or Uncas Lake. Uncas pretty good shore access by the picnic area. Just google them and you will see where they are located. |

I'm sure you know that you'll have to get an out of state visitor's license. |

Welcome to the area, hope you enjoy your stay, I am not from Clinton area, but I have been to Madison and fished grass island which is saltwater but still very nice. There are a lot of ponds and lakes in the area, if you go to google earth you can check them all out.
Michael you didn't provide any help with his question at except state the obvious about fishing licenses, most responsible fishers do that any way.[/quote] _________________ "Come after Me, and i will make you to become fishers of men"

Check out Messerschmidt's Pond in Westbrook/Deep River. I've been there a few times in the past few weeks and had some luck with LMB. |
