Launched early on low tide. Got one 3 lb blue and one 21 inch striper.
Had another nice striper on but got off. All hits on sluggos, dark red color.
Stayed through high tide but dead after first hour or so. Harbor has been up and down this year. I did pay $130 for a pass, worth it for the convenience since I live in Hamden. Usually salt water fishing is dead in July unless you use bait, so i may have to switch, but prefer lures. |

That doesn't really sound like much fun with all those people. |

Any of you guys see any bunker there. I was there on the weekend it was dead. I went to black last night nothing there as well. The rain really screwed things up. |

The light house seems to have more life, than the sound school maybe like he said it must have been the rain, The water was really murky when i was there a week ago.
Sticking to long island sound. |

better off in a boat the shore is lined with homes and marinas if you know people or get permission you may be ok. the boat launch has a small pier but the bait has a way of being out of reach there |
