Finally got the 6 pounder I have been hunting for. Well 6lbs 9oz...well the scale kept going from 9oz to 11oz. She was a super preggers female that I pulled from a laydown at Dooley Pond in my kayak. The fight was short and hard, but only because I was so frantic in getting the fish in my possession. She was 23.5 inches long. I'll bet if I found her a bit earlier in the year she would have been huge! Whatever though I am still pumped!!! I got her yesterday on 6/20 at about 1:15pm.
Here are some pics I was able to get someone to snap for me.

By the way I know my pictures are huge...I'm just at work and wanted to post them asap cause I never have time while I am home. Now that I mention it if anyone is looking for a Ford of any sort let me know I am salesman now and will be happy to provide any information in regard to any questions anyone may have. Just drop me a pm.

Haha thanks Phil. It was a nice trip, but short only lasting about 3 hours because I had to hit the gym. It was my first chance to take the yak out this summer and boy did I enjoy it. I wish I had more time to get out there. Someday I will...I hope.

NICE BASS! After that I'm sure you'll find a way to make some more time to get out on the water.

I like to see the bass with big shoulders. I have caught some post spawn bass that look so skinny. Great catch and keep going!!!
