I hit up crystal lake the other day at 7 a.m. Didn't think we were going to catch much but man I was wrong. Started off the day with a couple small LMBs and a few rock bass but around 9:30 I hooked into a nice 3lb 16in LMB from underneath a dock. It was my biggest of the year so far. I never thought I would catch something like that out of crystal lake ever. I would post a picture but I have no idea how to on here so its my prof pic. After that my friend snagged a nice 2lb LMB and then we left because it started to rain. altogether had about 16 fish on the day which was way better then I thought we would do on crystal. [/img]

Awesome catch and congrats! Crystal lake is close to my house and just getting back into fishing I'm going to have to hit it up VERY soon! What did you have the best luck fishing with?

I went out if my friends canoe last weekend and headed to the far side of the beach to the shallow weeds. Unfortunately the time of day was not a good one for fishing. We didnt even see minnows swimming around. The motor boats were making the after too choppy though we couldn't venture out into the open. You know how those ritzies get. Ooo lookit me and my happy family water skiing. Haha
