I've been fishing here a lot recently catching tons of bass. Most are coming on buzz baits and 5 inch senkos on the deeper outside edge of the lilly pads and weedlines. It's a fun place to fish pulling bass out of the salad is always fun. Some quality bass too a couple close to 3 lbs. also something about fishing in the rain I find enjoyable.

I hear ya man. Good fish in Silver lake. Gotta just get on'em hard in the summer. I caught a couple pikeral out of there as well. Good times. Way back in the south east corner, over the train tracks, another small pond as well Wink

Alot of people dont like silver, but i do, and we hit it through the ice pretty well too Cool

Same fish as the lake has. Beware of the giant snappin turtles back there. Otherthan that, it is kind of small but holds fish.

Went to Silver Lake Today and caught one 4lb bass on a rubber frog from land in the Lilly pads and then caught a decent size catfish on bobber and worm! Had tons of hits with the frog just couldn't land them..
