Haven't posted in a while so figured i'd share a little love. Been doing very well so far this year!
My friend Mark and I decided to catch the morning bite Friday before a long day at work.. Headed for the boat around 4:45, got some fresh bunker and we were off to the East to see if we can get on some stripers. First stop around 5:45 was around 30ft where action was pretty slow.. With some veryy odd hits that had Mark and I annoyed and frustrated because we were limited on time before we had to go into work. I ended up hooking up and it turned out to be a bigg *ss dogfish.. Time to move...Well now that we wasted most of the morning we decided to pull anchor and go try one more spot close by. Got 4 rods set up and about 5 mins later, BOOM! 1 rod screams... Bass.. another rod screams... Bass. We had 5 bass in the boat within 20 mintues non stop action!. The bite started to slow up around 7:45 however, the bigger fish started to move in. Its was around 8am and we reluctantly decided it was time to head back and head to work. We ended the morning with somewhere 22 around 15-20 bass and 5 blues.. Hell of a morning to say the least!!! Get out there boys!!!
