Anyone fish here? I am moving to Guilford right down the road from this lake. Just wondering how the bass fishing is? Its pretty small but 5 minutes from home! |

I've fished there a few times, not a lot of luck with bass there for me. Last year cought a few in the 2-3 lb range. Was there last week and couldn't help but catch pickerel any time I was in 6-8ft flats. Had one even jump into the side of my boat as I pulled the lure up to cast again. I do have a buddy that fishes down there and has cought some HUGE bass, an 8lb, two 7 lb, and multiple 4-6lb. He has told me he catches the big ones on big swim baits deep. All I've cought there deep are trout |

I've only fished by the boat launch lot area. Trout, bass and pickerel. Need lots of patience. On a clear day you can see huge bass swimming behind the porta potty
Having a boat is your best bet. |
