Was able to get out saturday morning for a bit with my father. Between work and getting the house ready for my girlfriend and I to move in its been rough getting out but we did and it paid. She came under a slip float in about 30 feet of water down about 20-25 feet. the second i hooked up i knew it was a walleye although its been awhile that log roll of a fight is never for gotten. Planning a trip in the yaks for Wednesday night at Squantz..

Nice eye. Ill be hitting Squantz later this week a few times, havent seen many reports coming out of there. What lake were you at doesn't look like Squantz, but I could be wrong?

Aside from the real nice catch ( still in search of my first walleye), the video equipment you got looks real nice man. Was that a head cam too?

Havent heard too much walleye action lately. Most of the walleye guys keep their mouths shut when catching them. Thanks for the report.

I wanted to get a head cams for Father's Day but didn't want to spend $300 for a go pro. Soooo what kind of cam were you wearing?

I know he has a Go Pro Hero 2 and 3. Check out his channel; Squirtx16 (Featured in the post). Great quality those cameras are but everything they come with is so expensive, mostly cause youre buying the brand. I have an Intova SP1 which is a little harder to get but is 200$ has a view screen, floats, and its mounts cost a quarter of the price of the GoPros. I love my camera but of course its hard to get accessories from the company considering the only Company Headquarters is in Hawaii.

I have the Hero 2, these cameras are worth every penny. I started putting fishing videos up on YouTube too under my own channel. I would highly recommend one. I have like 3 different mounts..
