Got to West Hill with two of my friends at sunrise this morning. For the first hour we had no luck even though everybody else was catching fish left and right. Then our luck quickly changed. One of my friends boated 3 Browns and lost a few others while my other friend, who is new to fishing, couldn't get the hang of it and got skunked. Me on the other hand, couldn't keep the fish off my line. I ended up boating 5 Browns while losing 3 right at the boat and about 4 others that I didn't have a chance to see. My lunker of the day came right when we were about to get off the water on a golden Kastmaster. It was 17 inches long and weighed almost 2 pounds.
Turns out it wasn't such a slow day after all. |
