Caught these females protecting their beds. Well some were caught casting. All were caught on my new casting jigs and others on tubes and lizards. Here's my pics.

Nice fish! I went to UConn, graduated in 2011. Played a ton of pond hockey on the "chemistry" pond. Building looks like its out of hogwarts.

Didn't get big into fishing again until after I graduated so never fished the ponds on the campus. If I did fish when I was there, I did quite often on coventry lake where a friend had a house. If you're ever looking to live off campus, theres some really really cool houses for rent on Coventry lake, bought 15 mins or so from campus. Sucks for the going out nights, I lived in Celeron for 2 years, so that wasn't an issue for me haha Laughing Laughing Laughing

Small world. Graduated Uconn in 06. I actually lived on Coventry Lake my junior year and it sucked for going out at night. I didn't ever think that there were quality bass in those ponds on campus! That would have made those amazing 4 years even better.

This is a great excuse to visit the old campus. Nice fish rmflint!
