Low tide for Bridgeport was scheduled for 7:25pm Saturday. Got down to Remington with my waders around 4:30pm to work the outgoing tide and stayed til 8:30pm.

Lures I played with included pearl grey shiner Flat Rap FLR-10, chrome black purple Max Rap MXR-15, purple gold X-Rap Walk XRW-9, green chrome orange Jointed Minnowstick JMS-14, and shad Shallow Shad Rap SSR-9.

Never got any hits or swirls. Saw one of the usuals land a 30" keeper on a pencil popper. He had 1 other explosion.

Starting around sunset was when adult bunker were splashing on the surface. They got thicker as it got darker.

Would you say the bunker were thick enough to snag? Are the bunker daily occurrences? If so we should meet up in that area I'd love a shot at a nice cow bass feeding on those bunks

The bunker have been there for about a week or so now. They start splashing on the surface about a half hour before sunset and get thicker after sunset. You can easily snag one.

A buddy told me he's been hitting the stripers better in the early morning hours vs the evening and night.

Lock your car and dont leave anything of interest laying around in there.
And park in the restaurant lot and walk down. Safest bet.

If you plan on fishing the daylight hours there, don't both going between noon and 6pm. That time of day is when you get the afternoon crowds who don't care about others. That's also the time of day when it's most crowded.
