I couldn't stray very far from home, today, so I decided to throw a frog from the shore at Stub Pond, because it's usually filled with shallow weeds. I was there from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. When I arrived, I realized that I had forgotten to bring any Zoom Horny Toads. Mad The sun was shining, the air was warm and there was a steady breeze blowing from the north. The water was slightly murky, but since the pond is so shallow, I had no problem seeing the bottom. I was surprised by the lack of weeds in the pond. The few weeds there were looked old and were covered with scum. I threw a Green Scum Frog BIGFOOT, but the wind made it impossible to throw it all the way across the pond to the north shore from the south shore. I also tried throwing a Shad Storm Kickin' Shad, a white Sebile Magic Swimmer and a wacky rigged Green Pumpkin/Red Flake five inch Senko. Although I saw a few sunnies in the water, I didn't get any action at all. So, unfortunately, this report is no report at all. Confused Since I won't be able to fish at all, tomorrow, I just had to catch a fish, today, so I decided to head home, pick up my Hobie Pro Angler, The Other Woman, and head over to Batterson Park Pond.

I'm feeling your pain. Big skunk for me today. Might try the Housy again tomorrow. Have a tourney there on Sunday. Gotta figure it out before then.

Stubs on my way home from work, so I often stop in to steal a few casts and be home in time for dinner. Been tossing a Havoc pit boss on a weighted Ewg and swimming it or hopping it across the bottom. Gotten a few good hits and some nibbles from the sunnies, but no fish to shore. There are a pair of geese and a swan to liven things up and Ive also seen a few turtles. A little bit of fishing is better than none so I'll take what I can get.

Poster AustinB and I have been hitting Stub on occasion. First couple times we caught some LM, biggest being maybe 1lb. Past few times maybe 1 or the skunk, so we usually head over to Nod WMA

I was telling Peco a few days ago, we went to stub this past week and along the shore swimming by as we were riggin up we saw what had to be AT LEAST a 3 lb LM, very nice. Couldn't catch the bugger unfortunately Rolling Eyes
