fished LILLI on Friday and headed towards the dam! for folks that know lill as you head towards the dam and get down way down there is a large cove to the RIGHT of the dam! a really sweet place to fish! THAT was was roped and barrelled off!?
i have never seen it roped off before?????? |

I've never fished Lake Lillinonah, but the satellite image in Google Maps shows that the cove is roped off:
I don't know how old the image is, but the year of the copyright is 2012. Apparently, the cove has been roped off in the past.

We fished that cove two years ago but haven't been able to enter it the past dozen times we've been there. I guess the utility company would be the ones to contact.

as of APRIL 2012 the cove was not roped off! - as of NOVEMBER 2012 the cove was not roped off -- i fished it april to november!!!!!
a shame that cove has netted me many nice fish! especially way inside on the left around the rock point where the pipe and road are -- VERY shallow and loaded!! - especially pike! -- i was shocked last week when i headed down there and saw the barrels!!!!??? |
