So I have been playing with google earth and notice a lot of ponds that are not on the DEP anglers guide. I realize some may be private property. Just wondering if any of you guys ever used google earth to find lake X. I see some prospects near by. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

nobody. Download google earth onto your pc and check out all the remote lakes and ponds that come up in your searches. It gives you street names and aireal views of the lakes with the lake names. I have been checking out lakes/ponds in rural areas that could only be accessed by hiking/quading. Very cool stuff. I am not suggesting it to fish ilegally but there are plenty of ponds/lakes that are not accessible by car and are not private property. U could find a lake X that is perfectly legal to fish at with a little effort and leg power.
It is also a great tool for directions. Check it out, it is free.

Bass,
I have Google Earth but I haven't used it for lake finding. I use Map source. It's a software I purchase last year and it's great..
Show everything you every want to see.
