How ire the smallies in candlewood biting? I'm thinking of heading there Friday. I'm about an hour away and don't want to waste time if it has been slow. Thanks for any info. |

I havent fished it yet this year but ive had my boat on it for like 5-6 years and i know that the smallies usually start showing up to a great amount in early may. Right around now i caught one last year fly fishing and it was like a rock, he was basically frozen! If you know the spots then it'll be good but i cant help ya much more than that sorry for my lazy info! |
