Had an hour to kill so i decided to head to the mill river (cheshire/hamden) to get my line wet. Hiked in about a half mile or so to find a decent pool around 4-5ft deep. Got my first on my 2nd cast throwing a black gold bladed rooster tail. Nice little 12 or so inch brown. Put up a great fight for its size with a few nice jumps.

Got my second on the very next cast. Close to the same size
