Fished Moodus yesteday with friend of mine. He was there pretty early and I met him there at 5. In total we caught over 20 bass and pickerel collectively. We fished off the causeway and they were all caught on lipless cranks and senkos wacky rigged _________________ Top 5 Favorite lures: Boo-yah Boo jig, Zoom Horny Toad, Rapala Husky Jerk, Berkley Power Worm, Senkos |

I fish there all the time, I live on the dam side of the lake. There is a new bait shop that just opened today at the upper ends boat launch. Make sure you pick up your trash when you leave. The town is about to kick everyone out of there. They are really tired of the litter there. The towns people are complaining big time about it. Just a heads up. |

I hate the litter there and never leave anything. Its pretty annoying not to mention the people that keep literally everything that they catch there in the summer _________________ Top 5 Favorite lures: Boo-yah Boo jig, Zoom Horny Toad, Rapala Husky Jerk, Berkley Power Worm, Senkos |

Max, Yea iknow, I don't know how many times that I called DEEP on them. People have already started showing up there. Not to mention how many dead fish that are laying on the edges because they are to lazy to unhook them and throw them back. It is a waste to be doing that. |

It really is a shame but it attracts huge crowds because I would say it is the best shore fishing out there. We need to go sometime though, next time im going ill shoot you a PM _________________ Top 5 Favorite lures: Boo-yah Boo jig, Zoom Horny Toad, Rapala Husky Jerk, Berkley Power Worm, Senkos |

Was there again today. The wind was bad on the upper side and not to bad onthe lower side . Did manage to catch two bass and no picks this time. With the water temps only 51-53 the bite has been slow. |

Max, Senkos fishing them really SLOW. Almost deadsticking them. Caught two small ones but a bass is a bass. And lost two others. They are hitting them so light that I'm not sure if its a hit or I just bumped into something. So now if I feel any thing at all I just set the hook just in case. The water temp is only 51 degrees, it needs another 5 more degrees and they will start hitting alittle harder. Srarting to see bait fish around the rip rap, that's a good sign. Will be back tomorrow morning. The wind will be alot slower. Also they are hitting 1/8 th oz bass jigs. Just dragging them slow with a few hops and stops. |
