Got ont he water today around 430 PM with my friend, we fished yesterday 4/9/13 and caught 6 fish all together, 3 bass 3 pickerel all on 4 in swimbaits.. We paddled over to the NW cove and landed 3 largemouth collectively both on crankbaits. Then I fished the point with the house and got one dink largemouth. Met two more of my friends out there who were on a basstender. Fished the east shore from the 4th house to the boat launch. I landed one more largemouth and lost a decent sized one on a black and blue jig and the other guys got two collectively, one on a jig one on a crankbait. Got off the water at 715, nothing picture worthy but it was a good day. _________________ Top 5 Favorite lures: Boo-yah Boo jig, Zoom Horny Toad, Rapala Husky Jerk, Berkley Power Worm, Senkos |

I love that lake, only live 5 mins away. I know that place like the back of my hand. I have caught 2 six pounders in one day a few years ago. A tuff place to fish by somer time because of the weeds come all the way to the top by then. There is a trick to catching them at that time of year. Since I sold my boat two years ago I have not been abke to fish it. I live on Moodus Resivoir and have been catching bass there all week. Just no size to them yet. |

No trout? I've fished there only once, but remember that it was loaded with trout. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

There are no trout in Pickerel lake. Just bass picks and big crappies. |

Oh, yeah, I confused Pickerel Lake with Amos Lake. I've been to each of them only once and froze solid at both. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |
