Went out to Stub Pond in Avon for some quick shore cast fishing after work (and before the Bruins game) with friend and CTFT poster AustinB. Never fished there before, but PECO had given me some good info on it, thanks Phil!
Started with a spinnerbait which had the most success. Color of it was Chartreuse and white. Caught one nice healthy 15"er, and the next cast had another hit it but spit the hook. Also used a SR5 chartreuse chad, grub on a jig head, and a swimbait.
Rain came in perfect timing just as we were about to leave. Fun night getting to know the pond a bit, look forward to going back soon. _________________ A bad day of fishing is better then a good day at work |
