Where were you fishing?
Trout season is currently closed. TMA and WTMA are the only areas open to trout fishing right now. |

Ive fished their later in the year and had funny catching them BUT on opening day by the time I got their most of the fish were caught kept, caught released, tired of seeing lures, or fled down stream lol

yeah, i mostly ad bass lures with me except for a small green spoon, the pond i wwent to was ony like 5 minutes away from me. i saw a few bass following my rapala, so i switched up to the spoon and i cranked it real fast and it was splashing on the surface and they just dart up and grab it, it was fun though, if it was opening day, i coulda had my limit in 15 mins.... 8 trout in 15 mins........ _________________ - Shut up and fish

I'm pretty sure most of us could get 8 trout in half an hour if we went out to a stocked lake the day before the season started. Your story gave me a good chuckle though....so did the "ohh I'm telling" comment. I'm glad you had fun, and it was an honest mistake. Read up on the rules before you get a ticket and take your gear away. _________________ PB LMB: 4lb 13oz
