Went fishing after work yesterday 3/26 at the ponds across from the UConn depot campus and got one keeper sized bass on a gold and black Rapala Husky Jerk. Finally got the skunk off and it felt great, also lost two others . I was doing a jerk and pause retrieve with a 8-10 second pause between each jerk. My friend who is not a member also went fishing yesterday at Moodus Res or somehwere near it, not quite sure, but he landed a nice largemouth and huge sucker on a crankbait.

I'm sure it felt so nice to finally land a fish, esp largemouth! Congrats!
