Went to Batterson for a few casts from shore from about 6:20pm til dark. About ten minutes in i caught one that was about a pound or so. About ten minutes after that I caught my new personal best!!! It weighed in at 4lbs 2oz.! I know its not as big as some of the hawgs I have seen posted on here all summer...... but for me.....that dude was an abosolute donkey!!! Unfortunately I did not bring a digital camera. I caught her on a 1/2OZ white boo-ya spinnerbait over the tops of the weeds. I'd burn it....then kill it...burn it.... then kill it... thats what seemed to be working. CAN I GET A BOO YA?!!!!!!!!! haha its been three hours since i caught that fish and im still fired up!
Over and out,
