We were debating on hitting Candy tomorrow but heard launching may be difficult due to refilling from the winter draw down. I know a few that managed to get in but I think they're using marina launches. _________________ Don't hold your farts in! With the water low it was a little tough to get in and out, but very doable.
Water temp was between 39 and 41 where we stopped. If not for the clouds it would have been a great day.
I went out to put my new ranger (new to me that is) to the test, made a few long runs around to get a feel for the motor and how it rides. HUGE upgrade from the tracker.
Anyway, fishing for me was slow, fished for about 2 hours did not pick up anything, worked a jerk bait and a hair jig. Next time out will be less bout the boat and more about the fish. |
