Hey guys, just wondering who fishes up north. Seems like most anglers fish the southern counties. Better Fishing? Or close to home?

Any place along the CT river in the Windsor locks/ east Windsor area able to be fished from shore?

I grew up along the Ohio river which entails chicken livers on the bottom for cats! Wouldn't mind fishing like that again

Hey PECo,

I read that report but I haven't found an area to walk down to the shore. There are the apartments and house on the East Windsor side so not sure if public, and the Windsor locks side has the factory and I'm not sure if it'd be trespassing. Is it ok to fish these areas from shore?

A few years ago, a buddy and I launched our kayaks from the northeast side of the Route 140 bridge, where there was an empty lot. I think it's still there. We ran one of our cars down South Water Street to the shoulder of the road underneath the Route 91 bridge, so that we could fish the piers of both bridges without having to paddle back upriver.
