I dont have one but they look pretty nice for a canoe thats kayak styled. I like the amount of deck space they have. Seems like you can put alot on there. Only thing i'd be worried about is stablility. Looks like it might tip easily but i dont know cause i havent had or seen one.

I've seen one, but haven't paddled one. What he said.

check out the video's on youtube or on the nucanoe website. I wish they would develop and post stability numbers to make things easier to compare.

I've seen the videos and NuCanoes look stable. I don't doubt that they are stable. The question I have is whether they feel stable, too.

Check the CT Outfitters site. Gary was having some kind of NuCanoe promo event.

I checked out the Hobie pro angler but its out of my price range at 2,899$ the nucanoe is more affordable at 1,150$ as long as its a comfortable, stable fishing platform I can wheel into places that may not have official boat launches, then its what I am looking for. I also plan on using a 45lb minnkota with it as well! -Dan

Hello-

The most important thing is to try any candidates on the water before you put your money down. Along with stability, try to get a real sense of the paddling effort. Also, once in the craft, check for freeboard in case you don't always fish on perfectly flat water (and no water skiers, etc.) and want to be dry all day.
