opening day is a shit show. i wait till monday when all the part timers have to go back to their day jobs. or later in the year when it feels more like fishing than some pseudo safari. _________________ i'm a castaway with no fishing pole, and the fishing hole is just a cast away |

Yeah, its gonna be packed, so we gotta get there early, gonna bring 3 rods with me, my flyrod, my ultra light and then my light, might use my age old trick, mealworms and marshmallows, or maybe corn. _________________ - Shut up and fish

For stockies, tie on something flashy, like a spoon or an inline spinnerbait. You'll pull them up non-stop. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

I'm gonna skip the trout too. Working in the morning and then trying for pickerel in a local spot that my buddy got a 5lber at last year ! _________________ Trust me. Use waxworms ! |

I live in southington, can u fly fish there?? If so im down, i need to catch a trout offa fly i havent in years. do u need to be a meridan resident? Im catch an realse but id like to try this spot in the am before goin to as many of my spots i can lol as it will be 420 and an adventure of a day. |
