what kind are you using and what problems were you having?. Are you sure it was the line and not the setting on the reel. Right now I have 40 pound braid on mine no problems. Make sure you go with a min. of 12 lb test. I heard Seaguar is good stuff and I just bought some, but have not tried it yet.

I like P-Line Fluoroclear, although I can use up to only 15 pound test on my spinning gear.

Go with the seagaur invizx , just started using it last year, I use 12 lb test for the most part and on my baitcaster I can cast twice as far as braid and it is very abrasion resistant

There are only a few companies that make fluorcarbon line. I know two are in Japan. One is Seaguar. You will find that most will use Seaguar or BassPro fluror. Lot's of high praise for both. Considering cost I go with Bass Pro. Never had a problem. A popular line amongst bassers who try to make money from Tourney's.

most high end users say sunline shooter is the best jig flouro out there. I have not used it, and it will be very hard. This results in less than optimal handling but great sensitivity and abrasion resistance. Sunline sniper is the defato standard for drop shot in 7lb test. That is the undisputed best but I also from personal experience like seaguar. The invesx is a great spinning reel line, but is very soft, and has more stretch. A lot of low budget anglers seem to really like the seaguar red label. I have used a friends reel with this line and liked it ok. Best depends a lot on what qualities are most important to you. Flouroclear and yo-zuri hybrid are both copolymer lines. For 10lb test size yo-zuri hybrid is stronger than any other line. I run flouroclear 8lb on one of my spinning setups, decent but has a lot of stretch in that size.

I've only used the Berkley Trilene 100% fluorocarbon. It works well for me on my baitcasters.

I'm using p-line and it sucks I usually use braid but for spring fishing I'd rather use fluorocarbon. But I have heard very good things about seaguar and might have to go and try some.

P line is very good in my opinion got that spooled up on most of my setups. But suffix invisible casting fluorocarbon is the best for spinning gear! I use P line on my baitcasters and berkely 100 % fluorocarbon. On spinning go with suffix invisible casting fluorocarbon. For braid i use suffix braid.

Keep in mind that Fluoro likes to retain coils or look like a spring when dangling from one's spool (spool memory). Before a fishing trip, simply peel off your average casting distance, tie it of to something, and give it a gentle pull and hold it for a few seconds. The line will be straight and limp.

Berkley Vanish. Its cheap for the money and its still the same stuff as the berkley 100% flor. Vanish is alot more flexable in the water.

Vanish is apparently a little bit different than the 100% fluoro. Here's a quick video on it.

Vanish is made for spinning reels and 100% fluoro was designed for baitcasters.

I tried Berkley Vanish on a spinning reel and found that it broke off too often for me. I've had a completely different experience with P-Line Fluoroclear. Last year, I boated a 28 inch striped bass with eight pound test. It's hard to break it off even when you're trying to break it off.

this stuff. http://www.basstackledepot.com/sunlineshooterinvisiblefluorocarbon.aspx it is 3 alternating colors. stays limp, is super strong, and easy to unwind tangles around the bail. (because it's different colors)
