Me and a buddy made a long hike in search of (not stocked) trout today. We tossed tiny brown/copper rooster tails for a while and fared well. We turned over a half a dozen and landed 7 or 8. All browns all small. I got a few pictures with his phone and will post them a little later.

I'm pretty certain trout season is closed unless it's a TMA or WTMA. Even places that aren't stocked but hold trout are closed.

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

You should check the Connecticut Angler's Guide before fishing anywhere, right now. Wink I've had some pretty spectacular Springtime brain farts in the past. Laughing

3 pounds 3 ounces and 19 inches long. No it's not a home depot bass. Jimbo got it right, its a stop and shop bass. Also caught this native trout by accident a little while later...

My man. Very Happy It's hard to catch fallfish with all those pesky browns thriving in our goddamn streams. At least I know someone else is feeling my pain.
