Only had a short time to fish this morning,..so I grabbed my dog and hit Cedar from 6:15 until 7:45. Only 90 minutes on the water,..but I sure made the most of it!! Got 6 bass into the boat and had another 3 that got the "quick release" at boatside. Everything was on a jig and most of the fish came while swimming it, anywhere from 6" above submerged hydrilla down to about 12FOW!
2 pics,..first is one of the early birds and the second is a big momma that went 6.25 (the dog is 13lbs for comparison)!!

great job mark! how did the dog react seeing such a big fish?
that was me going down the west side as you were doing the east.
i was up at 5 but could get out of the house until when you started fishing. guess i need to push myself a bit more...
i fished got 2 on my big worm in about the same amount of time. |
