Was in Wally World in Wallingford and noticed they had dumped all of these in a clearance bin for $69. There were a lot. I've fished with a few oh the W-M rods, and that is a pretty decent price. Just throwing it out there. _________________ RNA - It's in my blood.

hmmm i might have to go check those out, a friend of mine has the 6'11" yellow spinning model, it's really sensitive at the tip and has some nice backbone from what i remember, only thing i didnt like was the handle because it wasnt all cork like my berkley rod and the grip didnt go all the way to the bottom of the rod (not sure why it's designed like that?). i might pick one up since the mattabasset river just ate my rod/reel! just can't decide on a spinning rod or baitcaster.. is there really much of a difference? |

They have a number of models for different styles. Flipping, crankbaits, jigging and more. That Walmart had stocked a number of rods in the $90-$120 range, and I think they may be throwing in the towel. _________________ RNA - It's in my blood.

I have 1 of the yellow rods and love it, it is very sensitive and also strong like you said. I bought mine of DJMon on here a few years back. _________________ There's a fine line between fishing....
