went over to the mouth of the mattabasset off route 9 the other day for a couple hours and threw a variety of crank/swim baits, softplastics, spoons, worms, etc. with no luck, headed over to harbor park in middletown after as well but didnt get a bite their either! the ice is pretty much all gone tho at least  just a few floating chunks here and there. does anyone know when the mattabasset starts to become active for pike/bass etc.? |
