I have not fished the Slither K. I'm getting a bunch of the new Booyah Pad Crashers from my friend at Pradco, and I use all kinds of soft plastic bodies. While looking up the SK, I ran across a pretty cool blog for fishing frogs http://bassjunkiesfrogpond.blogspot.com/. _________________ RNA - It's in my blood.

i dont need 15 ....just 4 Confidence baits..
Dirty Jigs swim jig + baby paca craw or zoom speed craw trailer
Chrome colored Rattle-trap 1/2oz
Zoom OL monster 10.5 inch curly tail worm
If fishing in some SALAD => Zoom horny Toad ....
senkos are Dink magnets...not Hawg slayers.....in my opinion... _________________ Success Favors the Brave.......... |

football jig with a paca craw trailer is always money for me blue/black. Senkos are good too but I am slowly getting away from them. Crankbaits are good square bill. Jerkbaits in spring catch good fish. Spro!! I dont know I have so much too list and its winter so my mind is not on open water fishing right now. _________________ Never Stop Learning |

1 spinnerbait
2 any homemade/prototype lure
3 Stanley Ribbit (with Stanley Double Take hook)
4 ZOOM brush hog in green pumpkin/watermelon magic
5 3/4oz black/blue jig
6 ZOOM Ol' Monster
7 buzzbait
8 chatterbait
9 black/blue beaver
10 ZOOM trick worm on shaky head
11 any topwater prop bait
12 Cotton Cordell Super Spot
13 ZOOM super fluke in pearl white
14 NetBait Paca Craw
15 Megabass Bumpee Hog
In 2010-11, the Stanley Ribbit was my #1, but the spinnerbait bite annihilated the topwater bite in 2012. The Ribbit just couldn't compete with those cool 15+ bass spinnerbait nights. Lots of bass over 3, a 5-0, 5-1, and a 5-12. The spinnerbait also caught me a 4-2 walleye, a 4-13 pickerel, and an adorable bowfin.
Brush hog caught me several 3 lbers and another adorable bowfin, and anything that catches me a bowfin automatically goes into my top 5 list of favorite bass baits.
Black/blue jig consistently catches fish as my go-to dock bait.
I'm hoping some of my enormous California swimbaits make next year's list. FWIW, I don't throw many crankbaits, although I'm good at buying them and procuring them from trees. _________________ Kira
