Didnt know where to post this but im just wondering if anyone knows the actually species name for the the common shiners most people buy here. I know there are different kind but I mean the smaller ones that have an olive green to brown black with a bluish purple hue in the mid section and silver bellies. Usually get them here around eastern ct and theyre medium to smalls. _________________ Top 5 Favorite lures: Boo-yah Boo jig, Zoom Horny Toad, Rapala Husky Jerk, Berkley Power Worm, Senkos |

Theres blueback herring, alewifes, emerald shiners, lots of different bait shops buy different things. The ones i get look like spotfin shiners but im not too sure about the exact name of them. _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |
