Hi,
Well yesterday and today the temp really dropped and should help to firm up the slop that formed the past few days on our waters.
Hopefully this will extend our ice fishing season !
Wind though is brutal at 20-30 mph. with occasional gusts to 40 mph.
2/18/2013 ...Winsted @ 8:00 AM ...The temp is 12 F
And the wind chill factor = (-24.5 F)
I haven't been out the past few days, but will either today or tomorrow to check.
Hope many of the parking lots may now be plowed ! 
Not going to hold my breath on that !
Those areas though are not big on the state DOT or local Public Works radar.
I'm still hoping to get at least 1 smelt fishing trip in before I head south !
