I have a combination of bass fever and striper fever!

Can't wait to hit the usual ice out pond for largemouth action!

Can't wait to hit the Housy for the spring run!

Woke up today feeling withdrawal. I yearn for the feeling of something tugging the end of my line. I would take a bluegill at this point.

Had to go to my sons house where I park the new Skeeter to tighten the cover. Massaging the carpet on the deck to check for dampness got me going! It's time for the ice to go. Six weeks till our first tournament, I was tempted to put the ears on the lower unit and just start it to hear the motor run.

I might just hit a river for trout before the season ends.

My fever is so bad I've been on a roll with Ebay and Amazon and looking around at Walmart and Dick's.

Got a 1 piece 6 foot Berkley Lightning Rod Shock Series as a kayak rod to compare to my current 2 piece 6 foot Ugly Stick.

Getting rid of older South Bend freshwater reels and getting good deals on Penns such as Pursuit 3000, Fierce 3000, and Fierce 2000.

Also got a 2 piece 5'6" Eagle Claw Powerlight Rod to compare to my current 5'6" Ugly Stick.

Got an 8 foot Daiwa Emcast Surf Rod to compare to my current 8 foot Sea Striker. Penn Fierce 6000 going on it.

I never knew a Penn reel is trash even though they're now made in China Rolling Eyes

Wally world has a lot of products that are made to there specifications. They have so much buying power they can change a product and sell it cheaper. Ever notice that they never have the same model of tv at best buy that Walmart does?

Speaking of Walmart,

I got everything except for the 6 foot Berkley on Ebay and Amazon for cheaper than the Walmart price.

Yep, same thing with Homedepot and Lowes. They may sell John Deer and good brand tractors and such but go take one of those to a shop to have it fixed and they will tell you they cant get the part. Had that happen about 9 years ago when foolishly I bought it there instead of up the road at a Mom and Pop store and paid dearfully as it was a total POS!
