Got this trout on a spinning reel while "pulling" for Kings. It actually bit the hook with a piece of foam on it, the hook was right in its tongue! 33" and just shy if 17 lbs. Fought like a car, jumped around like a tarpon. |

I was following a friend who was a private guide there for a while. I don't know landmarks, just that we parked in (State Park?) parking lot and walked a long way in the river downstream. On our way downstream there were meadows of some kind on our right side. |
