Highly doubtful man, Uncas always seems to have a hard time freezing. Went to check Red Cedar and Gardner today. Gardner had an inch and Red Cedar had only a skim, very thin ice. People were right off the boat launch last weekend but it was only 4 inches or so, gonna need to get a nice cold stretch to get fishing again down here in New London.

Going to try Pachaug tomorrow so I will be back reporting.

Would give everything on the bottom half of the state another few days at least probably. I have been jumping around not finding much ice anywhere.

Hi,

Been concerned with my brother's situation as well as the commission I've been given on a maritime issue.

Will try to make my rounds tomorrow or Friday and post another 1st hand update !

Hi,

Thanks for the reminder AJ ...I checked the NOAA site and they have an alert for heavy snow for Friday with the possibility of up to 9 inches + high gusty wind !

Wouldn't you know it !

Murphy's law has struck right when I didn't need it. Shocked
13 year old alternator on my pick-up finally died.
Lucky to get home on the battery alone.
Picked up a new one last night..... so I'll be installing that tomorrow !
