Never fish live bait but if ya went to artificial I'd bank on the One Knocker Spook! _________________ Don't hold your farts in! They travel up your spine to your brain and thats where shitty ideas come from. |

I've landed largemouths 2+ pounds on live yellow perch and bluegills that were caught from the same water.
But if you were to say artificials, then I'd right away say Rapala Shallow Shad Rap SSR-7. |

for some reason there is a trend of not answering the question people ask.
For live bait shiners work well, small medium large. _________________

Probably most successful for me is medium shiners. Fat canadian nightcrawlers work good too though. _________________ YouTube Channel: NorthEastFisherman |

Shiners always produce best for me, when I use nightcrawlers, I tend to catch more panfish. |

LIVE FROGS SECOND!
If I'm not having much luck while shore fishing and I see a small frog hopping near me, I'll drop something like a small soft plastic, rear teaser tail, or hook with piece of worm in front of it. Then live line it and let it hop around near weeds.
Once did that at Beardsley Park and caught a 2 pounder! |
