Fished CT for the first time this weekend, Have been fishing the big waters of Winnipesaukee the last couple weekends. Cought 4 browns one big boy weighing close to 3lbs! great day was wishing I was in my heated bobhouse on Winni though.The wind that just wouldnt quit. cut through my best gear like a knife.

From Winni to Winsted? They're a loooong way away from each other.

Thanks for the West Hill ice report. I've been thinking of heading up there to try and get some Winter trout. Did you just set shiners on tip-ups right under the ice?

I Live in Farmington, and making it to winni just wasnt in the cards this weeekend. Fished tip ups with shiners, worms and salmon eggs. Cought 2 on tip ups at all various depths and one jigging with a sweedish pimple deepr down

one was only 9in was cought on the tip up though, Afternoonfisher why dont you not worry about how many fish i cought and catch some of your own

I just noticed the mistake. We all make them. I don't think anybody on the site thought that was a shot at you. I'm pretty sure we can all count to 4. No hard feelings, back to fishing and tx for the report.
