Hi Jim,

Me and the wife drove by West Hill this evening on our way to see a movie at the local theater.

Still some open edges in the boat basin and absolutely no activity on the ice.
No holes, No foot prints, No sled marks.
I also could see still some open water down the east side.
On the far south side of the pond, I could also see open water spots where the underwater springs are.

WH will need all of this coming cold Wx week to reach a level of ice reliability !

Best regards,
SeaDog1

I fished Halls Pond in Ashford and there was about 3.5 inches of ice. I also went to Mashapaug in Union today and there was a solid 6 inches so there is plenty of spots with safe ice. Should get better tomorrow with temperatures getting in the teens tonight.
